A close friend once said to me "Your search to define who you are has become an essential part of who you are". So therefore I will not introduce myself, not being quite sure yet. If you are reading this you are probably close to me and know me well already.

Times are a'changing

Countryside photo, April

Hey crowd (or what's left of it anyway)!

Sorry for leaving everything hanging, have had shitloads to do. These past weeks have been filled with stuff, the downside being I've had no time to blog at all.

Today I worked my last day at Rodebjer. Will miss the people but I am so happy to move on. As I say above, times are a'changing and I cannot wait for it to happen. For such a long time I've been stuck in the middle, not knowing where I'll end up and where I WANT to end up. Sometimes the world is just too darn big. Stockholm, Paris, New York... Waiting, contemplating, anxious.. You know.

To make a long story short I am now blessed with both employment and apartment. Blessed schmessed by the way, I bloody earned it all!
From nothing to all of it, in a matter of seconds basically. And I am incredibly happy.

I had my last interview with a huge Swedish clothing company this Wednesday and apparently it went so well they offered me a position right then and there and we signed all documents. I start May 26th.
With that contract I have also managed to prove to a landlord that I am eligible for a rental in the City,
an island called Lilla Essingen.
I have been waiting for a place for nine years in that organisation.

So, all solved in 20 seconds. Amazing.

Chair Arka, Yngve Ekström. I want this so badly.

My friend said "it's perfect, all you need now is a man".
Easier said than done, my ex is still with HER.
Will see him after my first day of work, we spoke last night.
I have decided or to say something (or at least indicate something, come on, agree with me people) or never to say anything as long as they are together (which could be, say, forever) and move on. I am leaning towards option no. 1 but will have to figure out a discrete way of doing it in case I'd step on his toes. Well well.

After my trip to the NYC I returned home with a full suitcase.
One of the things I am most pleased about is a book I picked up at JFK waiting for my long-haul to Zurich. You've probably heard of it before.
Skinny Bitch.
It changed my life quite drastically since I stopped eating meat after I read it. And no, I don't want to become a skinny bitch, I want to be a healthier me.
It's actually really well-written and makes complete sense. Especially if you're like me and can't keep your hand off the cookies and candies.
No meat for 1½ month now!
And, no candy for like three weeks. As soon as I cut the red meat out, the sweet tooth went away.
It speaks of not only the disgusting meat industry, but also about health and nutrition.
I learnt some and it got me motivated to cut out the junk.
It also tells you to quit smoking and lay off the coffee but some vices die harder.
Babysteps. Babysteps.
You probably all know how fond I usually am of all things meaty, so this is rough enough. If I end up totally fabulous I'm not complaining.

Wednesday I'm off to Gothenburg.
School is over and I will get my diploma friday and then go and get wasted with my friends. I'm looking forward to seeing them (my friends) and say eternal good-buy (to my classmates).
I am so past that place now.
Not saying it hasn't been rewarding, it got me the job and all, I'm just saying it's been two long years.
I will wear my new shoes and most likely a Minimarket dress that is hanging in my closet with the tag still on.

New shoes, 10 cm heel but I love them

My closet is stuffed beyond recognition at the moment. Facing a relocation is always good, hopefully lots of stuff can be given to charity, or at least stored in boxes in the garage.

I'll leave you now, and I promise to get back to you soon. I've had a good amount of Selvarossa and I am heading out for a smoke on the balcony. This evening I'll look on the net for a couch and perhaps other fun stuff to fill my soon-to-be-apartment. To-buy-list to be posted and I am looking forward to your comments!

In my bathroom in a month. Smells yummy. I love all things french..
I think most Twilfit stores carry them nowadays.

Here are some spring photos from Kungsträdgården to keep your mood up!
These cherry blossom threes are famous.
